Are you stubborn as a grass stain or as easy going as a light breeze on a warm day? Tell us about the ways in which you’re stubborn – which issues make you dig your heels in and refuse to budge?
I am typically easy going. I like to go with the flow and avoid unnecessary conflicts. During my adolescent years, my father would tell me, “When it comes to fashion sway like the wind, when it comes to principles stand like a rock.” During this time in my life, my identity could easily shift by the day. Always taking in new information and visioning new paths to take. My father being a wise man embedded this mindset into me, reminding me that to become great you must stand by your principles.
You see my father is an honorable man. Well respected in my community and among the families. I feel like the greatest glory I could bring to my family is respect and honor. For I will not budge when it comes to my morals and values. I take control over the things within my inner circle of influence and provide ethical results. I forge my own path. For I would be less of a man if I did not honor my word.
