From the Collection of the Artist
It’s the year 2113. A major museum is running an exhibition on life and culture as it was in 2013. You’re asked to write an introduction for the show’s brochure. What will it say?
The year 2013 was a year of change and growth. Individual countries became more economically dependent on one another. As globalization emerged world peace became more realistic. Living in the richer nations, life was simple and danger seemed nearly impossible. On the other hard there were still countries engulfed in civil war, the super powers did what they could to enforce peace. Cultures clashed and the weak became obsolete. It is now 2113 and the world is still in consistent change and motion. We are but products of our time trying to survive.
