Daily Prompt: Blogger With a Cause

Blogger With a Cause

If your day to day responsibilities were taken care of and you could throw yourself completely behind a cause, what would it be?

My cause would be to end world hunger and advocate world peace. I believe as technology advances and economic dependency deepens we will become ever so closer to reaching a global community. Currently we struggle for scarce resources because we think in terms of individual countries and fight against one another to maintain an order of balance. But I see a bright future ahead of us where we don’t care solely on our race, ethnicity, or nationality but for the well-being of the entire human race. I still believe military expenditure needs to be maintained for the survival of the human race and for the sake of technological advances. In order to reach this global community we need a group of reverent leaders who will be transparent with the public. We were once a country for the people, of the people, and by the people. Now the government is becoming too powerful where the right hand does not know what the left hand is doing. In order to reach this global community we must focus on our own government and once balance is restored and the public is informed we will be steps closer to uniting the world under one entity.
