Daily Prompt: A to Z

A to Z

Create a short story, piece of memoir, or epic poem that is 26 sentences long, in which the first sentence begins with “A” and each sentence thereafter begins with the next letter of the alphabet.

Life Alone

life on the road.

Began many years ago.

Catered to the peoples need.

Did not care of his own.

Each day was another adventure.

Fear was something he did not know.

Great things awaited him so he was told.

He was destined for fame and fortune.

If he ventured on alone.

Justice was his nature.

Kings and Queens both adored.

Living a life with one regret.

M.E.A was her code.

None of the same nature.

Only one he wanted for his own.

Past life she was remembered.

Questions of his lover soon took hold.

Readers searched and searched in vain.

Seeking for this mystery girl that made him so.

The secrets of her origin still haunts us from above.

Universe in itself will only know of such a love.

Vital she was to him in ever waking day.

With every breath she took only made him want to stay.

Xenophile he became to fill his emptiness when she was gone.

Years came and went with love lost and never refund.

Zap away his memories of this lost girl of old for all he wanted was her presence in his humblest abode.
