Daily Prompt: Fly on the Wall

Fly on the Wall

If you could be a “fly on the wall” anywhere and at any time in history, where and when would you choose?

I would go back to the Roman times around 100 B.C. so I could talk to Julius Caesar. He was an honorable man betrayed by some of his closest friends because he had both the people and the military on his side. His power was overwhelming and others believed he would eventually become a dictator. However he was assassinated before any turn of events could occur. I envy this man, he was a Roman general, statesman, and he led by example. He was a true military and public leader of his time and if he would not have been assassinated the Roman empire may have had a huge turn in events. I would like to see his philosophy’s on life and how he handled situations both rationally and irrationally.

***Sneaky: adj. Furtive; sly.
